Congratulations to Miss Bailey Myers who took 4th place in the sixth grade division & Mr. Vince Mathes who took 5th place in the fourth grade division! Way to go!!!
March 2nd was the 29th Annual Lesterville Academic Bowl. Bunker, East Carter, Lesterville, Ellington, South Iron, and Van Buren brought teams of 16 students. The schools are asked to choose 4 students from grades 3, 4, 5, & 6 for the competition. They have two hours to take an exam on five subjects; Reading, Math, Language Arts, Social Studies and Science. The highest scoring individual overall receives a trophy and the highest scoring school recieves a trophy and a banner to take back to their school for bragging rights!
